Allan Davies (Chairman)
Has approximately 40 years’ mining experience in the Australian and international coal and metalliferous mining industries having worked in operational roles up to executive director. Is a Non Executive Director of King Island Scheelite Limited. From 2000 until early 2006, also worked for Patrick Corporation as Director Operations, which position included responsibility for Patrick’s interest in Pacific National, Patrick Shipping, Patrick General Stevedoring and Patrick Autocare. Former Director of Pacific National from its initial acquisition by Toll and Patrick in 2001 until 2006. Former Executive Director of Whitehaven Coal Limited. Former Non-Executive Director of Aurizon Holdings Limited.
Sam Kaplan (Deputy Chairman)
Former Strategic Advisor to Patrick Corporation and Managing Director of Kaplan Funds Management.
Maurice James (Managing Director)
Former Executive Director and Head of Ports Group at Patrick Corporation.
Ross Burney (Non Executive)
Chief Executive Officer of Hume Partners, a multi-family office investment house. Has been CEO of the Peter Scanlon Family Office responsible for a diverse range of investments including private equity, listed securities, credit and property. Represents the Scanlon family interests on the boards of public companies such as Qube Holdings Limited and private vehicles such as Bennelong Real Estate, Taverners Group, Aware Water and Kaplan Equity Limited. Has served as a trustee of the Scanlon Foundation. Previously a director of The Maryborough Sugar Factory Ltd (MSF Sugar), Turners and Growers Ltd, Oncard International Ltd, Ruralco Holdings Ltd and Dawson International plc. Previously worked for Guinness Peat Group, Brierley Investments and BDO Chartered Accountants, in Sydney and London. Has 25 years’ experience as a CEO, investment manager and accountant.
Peter Dexter (Non Executive)
Has over 40 years experience in the maritime and logistics industries in Australia and internationally. Non-Executive director of the ASX listed Royal Wolf Holdings Limited, Chairman of the Australian National Maritime Museum, and Chairman/Director of the Wilhelmsen Group companies operating in Australia. Prior to his non-executive roles with the Wilhelmsen Group companies, he served as a member of the global management team of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics.
Alan Miles (Non Executive)
Managing director of "K" Line (Australia) Pty Limited. Mr Miles has more than 35 years' experience in the Australian shipping industry, including management roles of Bulk, Liner and PCC Shipping. Currently Chairman of Prixcar Services Pty Limited and a director of Kawasaki Australia. Also a director of other affiliated Kawasaki companies in Australia and a member of the Policy Council of Shipping Australia.
Sue Palmer (Non Executive)
Ms Palmer has more than 30 years’ experience as a senior finance professional, including as Chief Financial Officer of Thiess, a subsidiary of CIMIC (previously Leighton Holdings). She has more than 15 years’ experience as a director and audit committee chair across a wide range of industries. Ms Palmer is currently also a non-executive director and chair of the audit committees on the boards of ASX-listed RCR Tomlinson Ltd, Charter Hall Retail REIT and New Hope Corporation Ltd.
William Hara (General Counsel/Company Secretary and Director Strategic Assets)
William Hara is a very experienced executive having worked as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Lend Lease from 2007 – 2012 and prior to that that at Patrick Corporation for almost 10 years.
Paul Lewis (Chief Financial Officer)
Paul Lewis has been involved with Qube since its establishment in 2006. He is responsible for managing the commercial aspects of all of Qube’s investments. Prior to Qube, Mr Lewis was a senior executive at Patrick Corporation where he was responsible for investments and acquisitions. Mr Lewis graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.
Paul Digney (Chief Operating Officer)
Paul Digney has been a supply chain and logistics professional for over 20 years commencing in his family business, Liberty, in 1990. Liberty was acquired by Patrick logistics and over the next 6 years this division became the largest revenue turnover in Patrick, the most diverse and employed over 2,500 people.
David Knight (Director, Business Development)
David Knight has been involved with Qube since its inception and has been instrumental in many of the acquisition negotiations including the original P&O businesses (that form the base of Qube today), Moorebank as well as many of the smaller "bolt on" subsequent acquisitions. Prior to Qube, Mr Knight was Head of the Air and Rail groups at Patrick Corporation and a Director of Virgin Blue. Mr Knight has extensive experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
