We are committed to constantly challenging our Safety, Health and Sustainability performance. We encourage healthy living, promote strong community connections and minimise our impact to the environments in which we operate. Our values and strategies integrate our commitment to Zero Harm to deliver long-term sustainability and create value for all stakeholders.

We have a strong team of people who work together to create an inclusive and collaborative safety culture. This creates the opportunity to identify and mitigate risk, develop and innovate solutions and share our knowledge with industry.

SAFETY

As part of our commitment to Zero Harm, Qube works to identify opportunities for a safer work environment for our employees. Zero Harm reflects our belief in a workplace where risks are managed and the work does not impact on our people’s health and well-being. The key focus areas of Zero Harm are: People; Community; Customers; Environment; and Plant and Equipment. Qube is proud to be a Platinum Member of the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA).

HEALTH

Qube is committed to creating a healthy place of work for our people. We acknowledge the importance of healthy lifestyle and the associated benefits to employees, customers and the wider community. Our employee Health and Wellness strategy, QubeCare, aims to prevent injury and illness through a culture of proactive health promotion and early intervention. We believe in a holistic approach to wellness, considering not only physical health but mental health and wellbeing.

Our commitment to Indigenous Peoples

Qube’s first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), provides a tangible demonstration of Qube’s commitment to supporting the cause of reconciliation in Australia.

Our goal is to implement the Qube Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan by June 2024, which involves connecting and supporting First Nations peoples and communities. This is an important journey for us as a business to further embed a culture of inclusiveness as part of our broader Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Strategy.
